Board Foot Tally Support

How board feet are calculated
Thickness in inches × width in inches × length in feet ÷ 12. A board foot is 144 cubic inches. Hardwood thickness is entered in quarters: 4/4 is one inch, 8/4 is two. The app shows its working under every result so you can check it against your yard's ticket.
Typing sizes
Type them the way you would write them on the board: 5 1/2, 5.5, 2' 6 3/4 or 8'. In millimetres and metres, switch the unit system in More, or add a unit after the number, such as 140 mm or 2.4 m, and it wins over the setting.
Dealer rounding
Some yards count length in whole feet, width to the nearest half inch, or round each board up to the next quarter board foot. Set the preset that matches your yard in More. The exact figure is always shown alongside.
Pro, purchases and restoring
The free app keeps one tally of up to ten boards and shares tallies as text. Pro is a single purchase through the App Store, with no subscription, and adds unlimited tallies, PDF and CSV export and the rounding presets. If you reinstall or change phones, open More and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account. Family Sharing is enabled.
Log scaling
The Logs screen gives Doyle, Scribner and International ¼-inch figures from the small-end diameter inside bark and the length. Scribner values for whole-inch, whole-foot logs come from the published Decimal C table; other sizes use the formula fit.
Privacy
Nothing you enter leaves your phone. The full policy is at privacy.
