Board Foot Tally Privacy Policy
Board Foot Tally is a calculator for lumber. It is built so that nothing you enter ever leaves your phone.
What the app collects
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not use your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos. Board sizes, tallies, species, prices and settings are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage, and are deleted when you delete the app.
Purchases
The optional Pro unlock is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment and keeps the purchase record. The app checks with Apple whether the unlock has been bought; it never sees your name, payment details or Apple Account. Apple's own privacy policy applies to that transaction.
Exports and sharing
When you export a tally as a PDF, CSV or text, the file is created on your device and handed to the app or person you choose through the standard iOS share sheet. Where it goes after that is under your control, not ours.
Network use
The only connection the app makes is to Apple's App Store to read the price of the Pro unlock and confirm purchases. There are no servers of our own.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and collects no information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
